Se formos a traduzir diretamente do alemão, Kellerbier significa “cerveja de adega”. Isto por se referir às cervejas Lager maturadas em caves e adegas, que se localizavam por baixo das próprias cervejeiras da zona da Francónia, na Alemanha. Não é dos estilos de cerveja alemã mais conhecidos, e até é um pouco difícil de definir, uma vez que pode ter por base uma Helles, Märzen, ou mesmo Dunkel. No entanto, a diferença estará no seu tempo de maturação, que permite uma subtil afinação dos aromas e sabores.

Lote Experimental Kellerbier
Este Lote Experimental #4 traz-te uma Kellerbier de cor âmbar intenso e brilhante, com um carácter equilibrado e maltado, cuja longa maturação contribuiu para uma textura sedosa, amargo agradável e corpo médio. Coincidência ou não, neste Lote #4 foram usados quatro tipos de malte (Pilsen, Caramelo, Vienna e Brown) que conferem a esta cerveja sabores doces a pão e biscoito, levando a um final de boca moderadamente intenso com notas maltadas.
Unicamente disponível na Super Bock Store, este Lote Experimental #4 está limitado a 100 unidades.
Pensando numa harmonização, e tendo em conta este perfil suave e maltado da cerveja, a mesma acompanhará muito bem pratos marinhos, como peixe grelhado, açorda de marisco, ou sopa de peixe. Boa prova e bom apetite!
